About Center for Biometric Analysis

Jacqui White, Ph.D.

Senior Director, Center for Biometric Analysis

As Senior Director of the Center for Biometric Analysis (CBA) at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) since January 2017, I lead a centralized, state-of-the-art facility that provides in vivo mouse phenotyping services to JAX faculty and users of JAX mice. My team delivers comprehensive phenotyping across diverse biological domains including physiology, cardiovascular biology, metabolism, neurobehavior, and pre-clinical imaging. I bring deep expertise in the preclinical characterization of genetically altered mice and have extensive experience in establishing, scaling, and optimizing high-throughput in vivo and ex vivo platforms. In addition to my leadership at the CBA, I serve as Principal Investigator for the Knockout Mouse Phenotyping Project (KOMP2), overseeing the large-scale generation of phenotyping data, and as Deputy Director of Scientific Services for JAX Mammalian Genetics, supporting the delivery of world-class, multi-platform research services.

Join Our Team

Join our team of approximately 28 staff members, which includes experienced Ph.D.-level scientific leads for each phenotyping domain, as well as scientists, research assistants, project managers, program managers, and computational biologists. We are led by an internationally recognized expert in mammalian genome functionalization. Our comprehensive phenotyping services span the entire experimental process—from project conception and design to data acquisition, quality control, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation.
